History of the Restaurant-Pub Liget

The buildings of the Restaurant-Pub Liget are situated between the Big Metropolitan Circus and the Amusement Pak, in the City Park.

It has been founded in the beginning of the 20.century.

After the celebration of the Millennium, in 1910 - as a result of the reconstruction of the City Park - the Coffeehouse Laufer has been transformed into the Restaurant Liget , and the former Pub Circus has been shaped the Pub Liget.

Originally it was built in "C" -form. The part of the building beside the City Park has been built with a wooden-skeleton, roofed in saddle form, but it was open from one side, and here had to be the dancing room in summer. Unfortunately, the building fell into ruin in the 2.world war. Actually, the group of buildings has been declared to historic monument.

Provisions of the Restaurant-Pub Liget  

We offer for our guests our rooms and separate rooms for organizing programs of firms, birthdays, friends-meetings, banquets, cocktail-parties, weddings, menus for buffet as well. We have rooms for 50 or 60 persons, in the terrace we can serve 70 guests.

Wedding party in the Restaurant-Pub Liget

The Restaurant-Pub Liget is an ideal place for organizing wedding dinners. We can receive 60 guests in the restaurant, and 70 persons in the terrace. The wedding menu will be put together according to your demand, but we can suggest the most popular dishes of earlier wedding's dinners too.
